Michael & Joseph (The book) – work in progress
Alone in India, on the final stage of a round-the-world spiritual pilgrimage, Michael a catholic turned to Hinduism, meets
Joseph a Hindu turned to Catholicism. Joseph takes Michael off into the Indian countryside in his taxi with promises of meetings with gurus and saints unknown to the West. Michael is
hooked, but can he trust Joseph? Is Joseph his saviour or a spiv? Is he his guide or a gremlin? The same situation is portrayed from the viewpoints of the two participants. Two people
from opposite ends of the social scale, given very different starts in life, two people searching for different things, wanting two entirely different outcomes from the situation which
they have created and now share. They embark upon the journey together, but what is their real journey, and where is it taking them?

The Alternatives (The TV series) – project proposal
It’s Postman Pat for bigger boys and girls.
It’s Asterix for adults.
It’s ….. the Alter-Natives.
This is a spiritual black comedy, the first of its kind, to my knowledge, which deals with real issues and moral dilemmas but
always in an original, idiosyncratic and humorous way. It never loses sight of our own humanity. The characters are strong, individual, vibrant, and very much “off the wall”.
They speak their mind.
Two of the characters –
Captain Chopper A helicopter pilot or a big dick?
No Rice Paddy An Irishman. Never been known to eat the stuff

Magdelena (The Film) – project proposal
It is a grim, gray day, and the rains drizzles down as Magdelena steps off the train and sets foot for the first time in
Grimswick. People are scurrying about, dodging rain puddles and cursing under their breath. Row upon row of gray terraced houses lean against one another, their roofs glistening in
the rain. The skies are dark with the occasional grumble of thunder.
She is clad in a white cape, which seems somehow eerily illuminated against the backdrop of gray. She carries just a small
suitcase. As others cower and run to shelter from the inclement weather, Magdelena walks upright, slowly, graceful as she surveys her surroundings. Nobody takes any notice of her, but she
takes notice of them.

Find yourself a friend (The Film) – project proposal
This is what his Japanese wife told Jack to do, the day that she decided to stop having a physical relationship with him. Easy for her to say, but when you
have just arrived in Tokyo, don’t speak Japanese, and don’t actually know any Japanese women, this is not so simple. So he sets about doing just that. He finds an English
language magazine with a personal contact column, and sets about finding himself a friend. This leads to a surprising adventure, and some even more surprising discoveries about the sex
lives of Japanese women.
